The group is still in Narciss and is having the army of Koth paraded in front of them. The Regent and her husband have been reunited. Isania ducks out of the proceedings to start getting the ecosystem back to normal. Sapphire decides to help and the visit both polar caps to initiate them back to normal.
Karic decides to check on the plate tectonics and finds the planet is much older than he expected. He also discovers an item in the core that is helping to keep the temperature of the core at the level it's supposed to be. He decides not to do anything with it and reports his findings.
Sapphire examines the Weave and finds some artificial links to Alba. She also discovers that Alba influences the other planes than they have on it. Divine magic is weak and there is a fog in the Weave that is only appears when it is not focused upon. She discusses these things with Sinclair.
Sinclair gives Louis the task of sealing the Well of Souls. While all of this is going on, Melody has started her task of moving all of the dragons from Alba. She decides to send them to Blackheath. She goes to Blackheath to talk to Scud (it's been a day since the Winternight company has been banished). Scud tells Melody that he is abandoning Blackheath and she argues with him to come to Alba. She is unsuccessful.
Isania asks Karic to send a message to her father that she is going to need druidic help. Her father comes with seven druids and eighteen apprentices, all eager to help with the environment.
The Winternight Company decides to handle the sealing of the Well of Souls first. The travel to an island where a major population of Alumian's once resided. They cannot immediately find an entrance, and Melody wishes them there. They find the well and a guardian who is ready to fire his pistol at the group. "Professor Mallory" asks why they are there and Louis replies that they are gong to seal the well. "Professor Mallory" initiates combat and shoots Sapphire. She said it hurt really bad and responded with a force cage around the professor. Melody decides to teleport into the force cage and take with the professor. Sapphire wishes us back in time to better prepare ourselves since the first teleport was so abrupt.
The party searches for a possible way in and still find none. Sapphire teleports the group back to the well. The group is able to talk to him this time and he reveals that Louis can seal the well if the Winternight company can find a way to not break his contract. The party discusses several options, finally deciding on teleporting "Professor Mallory" with the group. Louis teleports back and starts sealing the well. He is successful and "Professor Mallory" doesn't show up. Since the professor no longer needs to guard the Well of Souls, he is taken to the Black Moon where Sinclair is able to send him back to his own world.
Sapphire talks Zith into going to Union to find out more about this chaotic army. Zith tells the group about the Infinite Staircase that connects all of the planes. He also shows where the door to the Infinite Planes is on the Black Moon. He agrees to do some spying, but is a little disgruntled.
Sinclair comes to talk to the Winternight Company about Tefnut. He says that the efforts of returning the environment back to normal is not helping her as it should. It will be something we will need to investigate. Isania uses her vision ability to find where Tefnut is. After her vision, she discusses what she saw with the Killoren and some have had similar visions/dreams. The party tries to teleport to her, and they decide she is not on this plane.
