October 3rd: Alba

Better late than never....

The Winternight Company discuss their next move and decide to determine if some of Madwand's army has moved. The group starts sensing and try to figure out how to guard the ley lines. The decision was to set up guard contingents determined by the size of the area. Each guard contingent was given an item to contact the Company and to teleport them to safety. The followers are also put on alert.

The Company decides to recycle the souls of Alba. Lou figures out what to do with the souls. The Company also decides to try to leave the church and state separate.
Karic goes to Koth to set up a government and appoints one leader and two advisers. Melody encourages the church to start education wings.

The Council of Elders is still deliberating on who should replace Tefnut. Their final decision is Isania, or her father. Her father accepts the burden. The Council, their apprentices, Isania, and her father go to Tefnut. The ritual doesn't go as planned. Isania's fathers' energy helps to sustain Tefnut, but his soul and body are gone. His soul has helped to sustain Tefnut for one to two years. Isania mourns the loss of her father.

Saphire goes to look for epic spell tablets and finds two.

While the ritual is happening, the rest of the Company goes to Narcis and find offerings. Saphire and Karic go to talk to the Gleaners. They get some information on the Codex of the Infinite planes. Saphire "borrows" equipment from the Gleaners for the Company.

Melody goes to Pandamonium where she un-imprisons two abominations and sends them to Madwand. She then travels to the Astral plane and finds lots of maps that don't point to Sigil.

The Company try to determine how to raise an army. Saphire decides to make seeds to teleport the invading army into a volcano. The Company construct a levitating platform by the volcano.

Madwand uses all twenty portals to invade with his army. Fifteen of the twenty were protected. Three fourths of the army is dispatched and are told to go to Aquillonia.

Lou gives life back to most of the army and incapacitates himself for several weeks. Karic fights two stone colossi, while Isania gets eaten by a piliform. She casts shapechange and changes into a gargantuan fang dragon and bursts from the creature.

After the battle, another window opens to where Zith and Sinclair are battling. Karik goes to find small groups while Saphire traps the last few portals with Melody. Lou goes back to the Black Moon to rest.
