June 7th: Kalimdor

Ranae Wolfrunner comes to talk to the group. She has met a human before and tells the group the human is a powerful wizard. She also gives Rod an atlas and says to take the hippogriff to Xavien to meet with "the brothers". Dax and Cue being incapacitated were not able to take the trip.

After a fairly short flight, the group arrives at Xavien. They meet three elves; Illidan, who was princely looking with lots of rings and reading a book, Malfurion, with green hair wearing leather and carrying a staff, and Taranda, the wife of Malfurion and wearing Sentinal gear. The keep they are at was very active since the "army" (for lack of a better term) was preparing to meet Rohnan and the aspects. Malfurion speaks with the group about helping the furbolgs. He gives each person a magical tattoo that enables them to speak with the furbolgs. He asks the group if they have someone capable of healing. Since Dax was not with the group, Malfurion said he would send one to us and to wait for her by the edge of the forest.

The group goes to the edge of the forest to wait. Rod, being hungry, decides to go hunt. He brings back a boar and starts to cook it. While Rod is cooking, a very huggy druid shows up. She introduces herself as Xen and is disappointed to find out Rumnia doesn't care for hugs at all. After Rod preserves the extra boar meat, Xen leads the group to the furbolgs.

Along the way, we encounter a stream. Xen and Zayer swim across while Rumnia dimension doors. Rod decides to make a rope "bridge" to get across, but falls into the water. He is attacked by a corrupted crocodile. Once the crocodile is dead, the group continues on until we find a good camping spot for the night. The night goes uneventfully.

In the morning, we continue on after some breakfast. The group comes across a webbed area where a large spider descends upon us. We are able to kill it with only a few of us getting poisoned. Xen takes care of the poison and we hurry through the rest of the area. When the group gets to just outside the furbolg camp, we come across a hurt night elf. She radiates faint magic. Rumnia goes to question her and helps her up. Rod takes over and carries her. While carrying her, she convinces him to kiss her several times, making him weaker with each kiss. Rumnia comes out of her daze and attacks the "elf". She turns into her natural form, a succubus. The succubus is able to summon a vrock and the group is still able to defeat both of them.

Finally, the group arrives at the furbolg village. Xen talks to them to see if they have a shaman available to restore Rod. We wait for a little while before the shaman comes to cure Rod.
